Residents' Festival 2022

On Sunday 30 January we opened our doors for the York Residents’ Festival. Over 330 members of the public visited the Hall to chat to our members and find out more about the Company, its history and the building. We were delighted to be joined by some of our partners across the city with whom we support the furtherance of education of young people in the arts and crafts; performances from students of York Music Hub, under the directorship of Vicky Yannoula; displays by York Theatre Royal Theatre Making Skills , York College and the Saturday Arts Club at York College. We also had a practical demonstration of spinning and weaving from the York Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers and, textile art by Fran Brammer.
